Jim McDermott
Owner/Licensed Home Inspector
A licensed builder, construction superintendent with 35 years of commercial high rise, heavy and highway as well as residential construction, Jim McDermott has an extensive background in home inspection and construction. Jim founded JMC Construction Remodeling Co. in 1985. Jim is a proud 35 year member of the New England Carpenters Union.He was a certified instructor at NERCC Boston training facility. Jim taught courses in: Aerial Lift; Commercial, Industrial, and Residential Construction Fall Protection; First Aid CPR AED; Solid Surface; Wood framing (Residential); Certified Building Envelope Technician; EPA, RRP Instruction.Foundation forms, wood and metal framing, drywall.
With his years of knowledge and experience in real estate, construction and renovation, as well as project management, Jim and his team work to provide superior services while building lasting
relationships with clients.
Jim is the principal partner of JMC Associates, Inc. He has has been a licensed home inspector for over 34 years.

Stephen Hussey
Home Inspector
Steve has been one of JMC Associates, Inc.'s greatest assets since joining the team ten years ago. He has been a licensed home inspector since 1995, specializing in home inspection services and construction management.
Steve has been involved in the construction and real estate fields throughout most of his life. His vast business experience affords him the opportunity consult any of our clients with their decision making during the home buying process.

Peter Viele
Home Inspector
Peter Viele began his real estate investment career with the purchase of his first three family house in 1990. After looking at hundreds of properties as an investor, he took the American Home Inspector Trainging Institute program for Home Inspection. Having joined the growing firm of JMC Associates in 2014, Peter has completed over 2700 home inspections. He looks forward to serving your home inspection needs.

Joe McDermott
Home Inspector
Joe joined the team in 2016, after having completed the rigorous home inspection course and passing the national exam. Joe has performed over 275 Inspections. Joe has a long background in the real estate industry as an investor, property manager, and licensed realtor. Joe has also completed and supervised many residential renovation projects over the years with JMC Remodeling. Joe is an AHIT Certified Inspector.
